Dozer is a resilient young American Staffordshire Terrier who has blossomed with a little TLC. He came to us severely underweight, but after some loving foster care he’s now healthy, strong, and full of life. He is a goofy, sweet boy who’s all about one thing: ball time. Whether it’s chasing, chewing, or proudly showing it off, this guy lives for fetch. He’s still working on some manners (he gets excited and forgets to give the ball back), but he’s learning every day and eager to please. Dozer knows how to sit, loves a good rap run around the yard, and is always down to hang out with his humans.
While he’s full of love, Dozer is also a strong boy who lives up to his name—so he’s not the best match for homes with young kids. He’d thrive with an active adult or older teen who wants a loyal companion and play buddy.
